Got PIWIS v22.00 on an IBM T30 with a KTS520 interface and an ubox2 cable. There seems to be a connection between laptop and KTS but when connected to car I got errors with ref. to SD. Any expert who can help me to get this setup working? Thanks

Are you using the standard OBDII cable? If so that is your problem as Porsche uses a different wiring scheme than all the other car makers.

From the Laptop you will need a USB cable to the K-520. The K-520 needs it's own power, the OBD II cable, and the aforementioned USB cable.

The K-520 works best when started before the PIWIS software.

I'm not sure if the OBDII cable is Porsche specific. How to tell? Is has a UBOX2 connected to it as well. What is the purpose of this UBOX2?

I don't think the UBOX2 cable will access all control modules. You will be able to access some, but not all. You need a Porsche-specific cable, especially for the earlier cars (986/996 etc).
