Just got a 1999 porsche boxster. Had to charge up the battery due to not being used by prior owner for a year. The air condition was blowing but now it does not. On the digital unit it shows the temperature, etc but does not blow cold or hot just nothing at all??Anyone have suggestions why??

Any other electrical anomalies? Same thing happened to me as my ignition switch was failing. I'd have to "jiggle" the key in the switch to make my AC and both headlights work.

I had the same problem - the temperature display looked fine but no air coming through the vents. It also affected my headlights as they wouldn't come on fully but were dimmed. My problem was the ignition switch. If I gently "clicked" it back just far enough not to turn off the car everything worked fine. The other possibility that I can think of is the fuse for the blower. I'd check the fuses as the first step in troubleshooting the problem. Pull, inspect and properly re-seat the fuse. You should have a paper in the fuse box cover that details which fuse to inspect.
