Coolant Leak

I have a coolant leak and I can't tell where is is coming from. It is on the drivers side on the car. Looks to be inbetween the engine and transmission area

Could in be the coolant tank. From the top it does not look like that is leaking.

That looks to be the drivers side of the engine. Your leak must be coming from the oil separator or the coolant line that leads to it. It is likely that the coolant line connection at the separator has cracked or the line is leaking,

I have the same thing going on. I suspect it is the same thing.

Had it towed to the dealer. So far they say the coolant tank purge valve is leaking. Need to fix that seal first to see if there is any other leaks. Fingers crossed that is it. I don't think it will be because the tank felt dry on all the areas I could check.

I will keep you posted on what I find out.

And the pain continues. Now I have a leak in the heat exchange box area. Parts are cheap but the labor to get there wont be. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!

Talked to my Indy today, mine seems to be an AOS.

Well I miss heard that is was the heat exchange box. It was the AOS. Evidently the 996 has a water heater at the bottom of the AOS and mine cracked. What really sucks is that I had my clutch replaced 6 months ago and could have replaced it then for about a 1/3 of today a$$ reaming.

Problem fixed and back on the road.
