Hi, I have just bought a boxster 2.5 artic silver '99 with full equip and I would like to make three questions.

1. Cruise Control

When a speed is in memory and we pull the steering (disconnect) the speed remains in memory or is cleared?

2. Navigation

I need PCM1 for Spain, where I can find?

3. Performance

The car is equipped with Porsche sport exhaust system. My dealer tells me it adds a little power up, so 10cv more, is it possible?

Regards.

1. It has been so long since I used it I do not remember. Check the owners manual if you have one, or check this board as there is one here.

2. No clue.

3. Porsche has never made a hp increase for the sport exhaust, and after over 5 years of Boxstering I have never seen anything that proves it does anything except make more noise.

1. The speed remains in memory until either cruise is turned off (with the swtich at the end of the stalk) or the ignition is turned off.

2. You local Porsche dealer should be able to tell you where to find this.

3. There is absolutely no performance gain from the Sport Exhaust. It is 1200eur of audible and visual bling ;)

1. My doubt is when 80kmh is in memory and we run 120kmh, we must:

a) connect tampomat and run down to 80km/h and then acelerating,

or

B) set memory 120kmh directly.

Regards.
