I am considering a "cold air" intake or aftermarket intake box. Looked at suncoast's "evo" and others. My car is "flashed", has exhaust all else is stock. Suncoasts is $750 plus, plus and others are similar. Anyone have a suggestion on this upgrade including results if you have one. Always worried about creating a "code" situation with MAF. Just curious if anyone found this to be a good upgrade or waste of money.

Thanks.

I did the evoms CAI and blew through several MAFs. IMHO, you need to have the CAI compatible with the ECU (flash), other hardware (turbos, exhaust, etc,), environment (e.g., altitude) and driving style. I now have the dual snorkel Sportec and all is well.
