Hey guys so i picked up a boxster for me and the lady to share on some of the warmer approaching days.. Im trying to figure out why my speedo is so far off.. when im doing 60mph it reads 80 to 85!!!!!

if you guys have any information that could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.. i do know about the normal porsche speedos being off a little bit but this is way more then that...

thanks in advance

:welcome:

Normal is about 5 MPH fast.

Check the tire size - that can easily throw the speedo off.

thanks for the welcome

yea i heard 5 was normal.. i checked the tires against tire racks recommended for 17s and it showed the same i believe ill double check.. im running some iForgeds' right now with a with a decent offset... i also have a set of 19' stagggered carrera blades i could throw on but they rub sometimes on sharp turns
