It is a moot point -since I bought the car- but how much do you pay for car insurance on your 911?

Thanks for the info.

Very subjective. Most websites will give you online quotes. Price is based on age, driving record, class of vehicle, miles driven annually, how many cars you have, where you live etc....Go to one of the

major auto insurance sites like statefarm.com and you can get a quick quote based on the relevant variables.

Good luck,

join pca and then call leland-west. I pay about $300 per year with 0 deductible based on mileage of 3-4K year. Unlimited mileage plans available at very reasonable rates.

You'll like this...

With only so much garage/driveway space, the acquisition of my 996 last year necessitated the sale of our old 2003 Dodge Neon beater car (tough trade, eh?). With the same coverage, the insurance for the 996 was almost exactly the same as the Dodge Neon. It turns out that the terrible safety rating of the Neon was an equal risk to the insurance company as the high performance and high replacement cost of the 996.

I have to admit I miss the Neon a bit. Not because it was a good car, but because it's sort of liberating to have one vehicle that you just don't care about. Moron drives into the side of your car in the airport parking lot? No problem!

I pay 75 a month for full coverage 100/300 with 500 ded. I am 35, male, married and no recent tickets. But honestly if insurance rates are a deciding factor or a concern at all then maybe a 911 isn't the right car. it's like asking the salesman about the mileage on a Bugatti Veyron.

Insurance must be cheeper in the U.S. the $1400 yr I pay is with multi car, and home owners discounts, 41 year old male, never had an accident, and one ticket when I was 17yrs old. I also pay $1200 yr for my 09 Dodge Ram, maga cab 4x4.

If I start thinking about the Bugatti, I may not ask the fuel mileage but I might get an insurance quote before putting the deposit down! LOL

$509 for the whole year... not bad considering it is a sports car. Thanks for your inputs.

BTW, I love the car. It is true: it fits like a glove. Not intimidating to drive but does have a nice punch at higher RPMs. Looking forward to driving it.
