I am new to the Renntech site and am in need of a cross reference listing from the part number to where the part is used etc. The part number I am at present researching is #930.207.227.01 or .02(replacement??). I believe this part may be either used in the auxiliary venting system (oil tank to air intake area, or in the vapor recovery system. I believe it is found on the 1983-89 911 Carrera.

What am I doing? Converting a 1987 911 Carrera engine and related support systems in to 1974 Porsche 914 Sixer GT. This is my third Porsche with others being 914-4 and 914-6 over the past years. I am like most sport car "nuts" who has had other makes such as Alfa Romeo, Corvette, Lotus, Triamph, Austin Healey, etc.

My current hobby is rebuilding/restore Porsche cars. Next project will involve a 1969 911.

Can anyone tell me where the above part # is used and what it is called by name? One of the researches got me the name of "air valve"; where it is used I do not know.

Thanks for the input and supplemental information. It certainly helps on the completion of that part of the project.
