Tep...Tep... noise when idle and slow going

Hello^^

My 2000 boxster S has some noise like 'tep, tep, tep' when idleing and when low rpm T.T

It's not airconditioner fan sound, when I off aircon, still tep tep.

after run and stop in parking lot, I can heard that.

about over 2000rpm, I cannot hear that tep tep sound.

Sometimes, keep idleling start 'tep..... tep.... tep....' and after it comes more faster 'tep tep tep' and sound disappear,

but, after high rpm and keep idleing, sounds comes again slow 'tep..... tep.... tep'.... and repetition comes faster... and sound disappear.

I search many articles in this forum...

I guess... do my water pump have noise, like this?

I can hear it at night or indoor parking lot. cuz sounds small.

It's smaller than radiator fan working sound in back of passanger seat.

How do you think about this noise??

Is it water pump noise?

You have to be specific and as observant as you can. walk around the car and stick your head everywhere you safely can. Engine hatches off, doors open, hoods open, etc

-Tell us where it coming from as exactly. (front, back, leftish, rightish. etc)

-does it get faster as the engine speeds up

-Does it only happen when it's cold...hot, does it ever go away at idle.

THere are a million things that could do it and a w-pump wouldn't necessarily be my first choice.

OK I'll try to hear where the noise from first! ^^

I just find out how can I engine hatches off. I'll try open them and hear again next morning and evening.

Pull the access hatch off that is behind the seats. Run the engine so you see the direction the serpentine belt is spinning. Run for only a few seconds.

Remove the serpentine belt. But before you do, draw a diagram of how it goes back on.

Run the engine for only 20 seconds. Did the noise go away? Than it is outside the engine in what are called the auxiliaries...idler pulley, a/c compressor, alternator, etc.

If the noise didn't go away, then it is deep within the engine and you may need professional knowledgeable help. But if it was in the auxiliaries, try spinning each in the direction it would go and see if there is anything loose, worn or that makes noise.

hear is that umm... I think more clear tep tep sound on right(passanger side) of air intake hole.

and... little diffrent sounds on my seat. it's tep tep + peep peep(very end of the video).

(and I'll try to engine hatche off and try it again soon)
