Has anyone had to replace the LCD display for the heater and fan? The section that displays the fan speed and location is broken and bleeding into the whole display. I mocked up a pic (not my car) to show you what it looks like. Please excuse the poor MS paint picture, but it does look very similar to this.

Do any of you know if I can buy just the display or do I need a whole new unit? Everything works fine, it's just that soon you won't be able to tell what it says.

Thanks

Patrick

Unless you can find a used one on eBay or at a salvage yard you are looking at: 996 653 101 03 EFR CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT $617.14 (retail Dec 2004)

This control panel was also installed on Audis from early 90's. Check it out as you could obtain the same thing at a fraction of the cost.
