Spoiler change GT3rs - c2s

Hi I have purchased a 997 GT3rs spoiler/deck and want to get this fitted to my 2005 997 C2 S

Now a few porsche body shops say this is easy to do but I need travel along way to get this job done and wont trust it to a normal bodyshop.

My question, can anyone provide me with some info on this about what to change and how to do it.

I can see the fan would require moving and the bottom of the GT3rs deck is not the same which is expected.

Has anyone does this before, the guy at the bodyshops says this would be his 3rd change over fro GT3rs spoiler to C2s and would take him 2 hours?

any ideas and ways to do this is always welcomed.

The part I have is not a copy its a genuine GT3rs item if this helps.

Here is the install guide for the Aerokit which is as close to the GT3 in one respect except maybe the air inlet.

This should assist your shop in installing the rear deck.

thanks for the reply.

I look at the spoiler and decklid (gt3 rs) that I have waiting to be fitted and the first thing I see is the cut out for the fan which is located at the far left, then at the right I can see the air intake cut out.

Here is a pic below called example1 which I can see the GT3rs spoiler and decklid above the engine, and the fan and intake is the same as the one I have here waiting to be fitted.

Now the C2S is alot different, for example as you say the intake is at the right on GT3 and the left on the C2s, also the fan is more in the middle of the C2s and on the GT3 its pushed right over.

I am assuming I can fit the fan from my C2s when i take it off and attach everything from the old decklid (C2s) to the new (GT3rs) one.

Yes the intake will change and it would be nice to get the forced air from the spoiler scoops into the intake system at the far left, having said that I am wondering if its even worth making my own rubber or plastic system to

bring the intake across the engine or not.

example 2 is the C2s engine and decklid, example 1 is the GT3rs with the decklid I wish to put onto my 997 c2s

The airbox in the c2s is way different to the gt3rs which does present a problem.

any views are welcomed.
