It is quite simple actually, but why? The stock headers are the right size. You might want to port and polish, but you will gain nothing (maybe even lose some) with aftermarket ones IMHO.

I agree with Wross, aftermarket headers arent gonna produce. If you look at side by side, which I had oppurutunity to do prior to buying, stock headers look similar and more durable. You can get them ported, but I wouldnt even suggest that so much. If you like the look, get them cleaned, polished or powder coated ceramic. Put on cats 100/200 cell and muffler. Exhaust is very easy on a lift and not real difficult to do on your back.

Thanks for the input. I will skip the headers. I guess it's the old hotrodder in me that wants to replace the headers. This was always a good idea with a Detroit V-8.
