Thinking to do do some track, I intend to make a brake upgrade in the 996 C2 2000.

I need to know if that is possible, to change the brake ssytem, and what I need to buy to do the conversion 996 C2MKI > 996GT3MKI ?

For now I think in the front only.

It needs only calipers , pads and discs of 330mm?

Parts:

99635140991 DISC TRV FRT Left 996GT3

99635141091 DISC TRV FRT right 996GT3

99635142910 Caliper Breaks FRT Left 996 GT3

99635143010 Caliper Breaks FRT right 996GT3

Pads , I don´t insert the codes because there is so much options, in other brands.

I think you will also need wheel hub carriers.

Are you planning on turning ABS off?

No I don´t think turning off the ABS.

Only to change calipers, and discs, if that was possible.

Can you show mw a photo of the wheel carriers?

Different ABS controllers and different wheel carriers.

I really need to know what pieces I have to buy without doubts to do this conversion.

You can buy aftermarket Brembo kits that will give you 355 mm fronts and 345 mm rear brakes - the GT3 had 330 mm front and rear.

Even thought the aftermarket kits are expensive they are still not as expensive as GT3 parts - and you can use your existing wheel carriers.

It´s a possibility, a less expensive modification, with Brembo kits, I hear too aboult the girodisc solution.

Less expensive too. Do you knew this kit´s?

Girodisc are nice rotors, but they only change the rotor, not the caliper. Unless your C2 is making considerably more power than stock, the calipers you have are more than adequate with the right pads and good, fresh fluid. I am also working with a brake supplier to produce two piece, aluminum hatted floating rotors in stock size, that will come in cheaper than Girodisc.

I think my car have 300 - 330 hp, I have to go to a dyno , to measure the power. So maybe with this modifications I didn't change the rotors or calipers:

- castrol SRF fluid

- goodridge hoses

- 997GT3 cooling ducts

- PAGID RS29 ( yellow pads)

I have already the front calipers, rotors and pads, now I need the wheel carriers? It´s only the parts I need?
