Hey All,

Quick question for for ya. Suddenly, for some reason, the small courtesy light above the ignition switch has decided to stay on in my 993T (of course it killed the battery). I went through a door lock-unlock cycle a few times, opened and closed the doors & hood a few times, etc. to no avail. Also, while attempting to charge the battery with the usual battery charger, the green "fully charged" light on the charger meter started to blink quickly for no discernible reason. I replaced it with a second, identical charger...which did the exact same thing.

Is there a circuit open, or something like that?

Lo and behold....I started the Twin up two days ago (fired right up with NO smoke after 4 months storage) and whaddya know...the courtesy light above the ignition switch went out! Cycled the car on and off a couple times during the day and it's stayed out. I think it might have been light while I had the hood open charging the battery...duhhh!!
