I have 17" OEM wheels on my 2009 V6 Cayenne - I have been looking for some 18" OEM ones on ebay and craigslist. Quite a few to choose from but not sure if I have to buy a specific kind.

Will 2011 OEM 18" ones work on my 2009 including the pressure monitoring system? Can I only replace them with OEM ones that were meant for the 07-09 models?

Hi -- according to Porsche, new generation 92A wheels should not be mounted on 9PA, 9PA1 vehicles. There is a thread about this: http://www.renntech....eels-necessary/

But people have done it. The 92A's are lighter vehicles and have lighter wheels. So 9PA or 9PA1 wheels on the 92A vehicles are a better idea than 92A wheels on a 9PA or 9PA1 vehicle...

You can go back to '03 models for your wheels. I see a lot of great deals for OEM 18" wheels and tires -- some with TPMS.

Ahhh - that is too bad. I checked with one of the bay area dealers and they said it should still be fine, that size difference is fairly small... but perhaps I should not take a chance. I see a lot of 03-06 wheels on ebay, but not many 07-09 ones for some reason.

Does anyone have a reccomendation for 18" wheels I can put on my 09 Base? I see lots of options on eBay - mostly from 03-06 model years.
