Try Braille Moll, and Optima. Mine came with a Moll and has had a 17 lb Braille for the last 15 months. From Tire Rack. Came with mounting bracket. As Loren said this topic has been beaten to death and there are many pros and cons. As a 914 owner I'm exremely sensitive to hell hole damage from lead acid batteries and prefer any solid battery. My Braille is mounted poles forward for maybe 0...1 o/o improvement in CG and 25lbs in weight.

In the states we have many choices of many brands and seldom do we worry about who had the contract for Porsche that year. Porsche didn't make the battery so all we try to do is get a battery as good or better and without the price surcharge of the Porsche branding.
