You've posted several times this can be fixed by retiming. Have you had the chance to note the before and after actual values on the cam deviations?

Unfortunately i have the specific values not in mind, the notes are transferred to my colleagues. Anyway, the info provided on engine type, DME, engine history (what's happen), engine check on? etc. is insufficient or non existent for a specific to the point answer. We used the special timing tools to check how much the timing was off and deciding what needs to be checked/repaired/replaced, variocam-chain-guides-etc., after the intervention using the tools made the timing right. Hope it helps.

Thanks RFM. Your point being that the stretch in the chain can be compensated for with NO parts replaced, only a re-timing because the stretch is minor. Right?

Offset is possible on a very limited distance for security reasons. Focus only on a stretched chain is not a good idea on M96/97 and Cayenne V6 engines (see my comment at the top of this topic.)
