Hi All

i have recently had the engine out of my 2003 Cayenne to repair the gearbox, and the muppets who did the job have not reconnected the window washer bottle. when i fill it up via the hole at the top left of the engine bay, water just poors out from the bottom of the engine.

i have taken the plastic covers off, and the piping is not connected to anything.

As the gagrage that did the the gearbox work decided to do 190 miles in my car while they had it, i am definately not taking it back to them, and would like my usual mechanic to do the job but he would like an idea where the water tank is.

any ideas anyone??

many thanks

remove right side headlight, reach thru and push the 2 parts together ( left side when facing the front of the car)

I too have this problem, been living with it for about a year or more. I thought that it was a case I needed to remove the bumper to locate the actual Headlight Washer units.

I have had no gearbox work, or anything that I can think of that would require a garage to disconnect the Washer bottle in the first place. Is it a case that the piping could have worked its way loose

from the washer bottle ?? And then all I need to do is to push the pipe back on ?? I did have some issues with the rear Windscreen washer, whereby the pipe came off in the boot lid and

water leaked onto the Boot Cover which was a case that the piping had worked its way loose.

I am in England, RHD so I just remove the headlight on the Drivers side and should be able to locate the disconnected pipes ??

Thanks

I just finished this job, should have checked here first. I took off the right wheel and then the plastic wheel well cover and then snapped it back into place. Long way round...
