Turbo S intercoolers

I recently had to change the front chin spoiler on my Turbo S after ripping it off on a parking block with a piece of rebar sticking up. While I had the two front inner fender wells out I noticed the dirt build up on the intercoolers so I decided to have a good look at them and clean them out. See pics. When I inspected the front side I was shocked to see significant stone chip damage to the aluminum intercoolers! There are some sizable dents. I have the 3M clear bra over the entire front end of the vehicle, but of course this does nothing to protect the intercoolers or other various radiators living behind the front bumper. I have checked online for a bra with screens and could only find bras for cayennes up to 2006 and it is not apparent if the bras have screens over the air inlets. I went to the dealer today and asked what they had....... blank stares. The joke was "don't drive your turbo in the winter" as I was walking out.

Does anybody know of any system for protecting these components from road rash!!

I have seen some Cayenne with a kind of mosquito wire, directly behind the front middle en side cooling vents, as protection. Anyway, it looks ugly and is only usable in warmer climates, the air flow will be obstruct by snow in colder climates with consequences for overheating etc. Unfortunately i have no safe solution to this problem, maybe others do.
