Look at page 211 in your owner's manual. There is a procedure out lined there.

If you dont't have an owner's manual go to the "documents menu" at the top of any page here on RennTech and download the manual for future reference.

In my car if you reach up under the middle of the bumper you find the end of the cable that runs from the latch to the latch release. I just grip it good and yank

I found out a CTEK 7000 (or the newer 7002) will electrically pop open the trunks even with no battery connected. I tested it out while swapping the original batter for an Optima recently just to see if it would work or not. You will need the cigarette lighter adapter. The 7000 is an upgraded version of what Porsche rebrands as their battery maintainer, and you can pick them up through the Renntech Amazon store. To me, it's an easier alternative than groping around under the car for the hood release and you end up with a very nice battery maintainer when you are done

You didn't say where you are located, but if you're near me, I'd be happy to meet up with you and help you out using mine

I felt the cable under the mid front bumper, I pulled it, the trunk did not open, but I think I have just disconnected or broke off some kind of electric wiring.....This car is going on the flatbed in the morning before gets more damages. Thanks all for the inputs.
