Guys, today one of our long standing customers came in with a CEL light on the dash and had the following read out on our PST II tester. This is verbatim and I have no clue as to what it means.

It does throw a CEL light on the dash (or did as we've re-set it) but I would still like to know your thoughts. As far as we are concerned this thing runs as well as a 40k mile 1997 993 can run. Nice, very nice.

What comes up are these numbers 50, 51,52, 54, 55, 62.

Beside each number are these words "cyl xx, misfire emissions-relevant" (where xx is the cylinder and it covers all 6)

He was driving the car when this happened.

Stumped....any thoughts?

Thanks,

Price

Be sure the drive belt hasn't broken for the secondary distributor and also the black plastic shield on the dist caps can trap moisture over time and cause a misfire. I would remove the plastic and inspect for carbon tracking.
