Slightly silly question but I'm getting some scratches removed from the rear door on my CTT and so the "Cayenne Turbo" logos need to be removed/replaced. I was thinking only replacing the "turbo" logo and painting it something more interesting than boring silver. The shop doing the body work wanted way too much to do this so I was thinking of doing it myself. Has anyone else on the list tired this already and can suggest appropriated prep and paint? Also, what adhesive is used to bond the logo to the body? Thanks!

I'm going to bump and old thread instead of making a new one.

Does anyone have the measurements/instructions to install the new "Cayenne turbo" emblem? I just bought a 04 CTT and the previous owner removed his and i bought one to install install.

Thanks!

Mark the middle of the cover.

Apply an adhesive strip which can be labelled with dimension −A− approximately in the center of the cover, parallel to the edge of the cover.

Determine the center between the outer edges of the cover and mark on the adhesive strip.

Determine the center −M− between the outer edges of the license plate cover.

Align the logo using the adhesive tape marking and press it on firmly.

Pull the adhesive tape off the rear lid.
