I am getting an error code P1325. After reading several posts I decided to swap the actuator valves (the ones on the top of the engine) bank 1 to bank 2. I also changed the filter and oil. Went on a ride and got the same code after about 5 minutes. Any ideas on what to do next.

thanks,

Joel

I hope you know that you can test the vario cam system with durametric to see if it work properly. It is in the "drive link" menu.... If you select either banks at idle the rpm change suddenly after you select the solenoid you are testing which is a sign of a working solenoid. You got two solenoid per banks. One for the valve lift 3mmm or 11 mm and one for the cam advance.

Thank-you for the information,

Is is possible to check the timing chain and the variocam components with the motor still in the car.

My Durametric cable showed up yesterday and I hooked it up for the first time. Can someone tell me what a "healthy" Turbo is suppose to be reading for

Camshaft position 1 deviation

Camshaft position 2 deviation

Actual angle for camshaft bank 1

Actual angle for camshaft bank 2

Thanks,

Joel

Given the first time that a scan take place and the MIL does not light, it can be events from the past. I would erase the memories and recheck later on.
