Alcantara

I recently found some people online that are recovering various parts of their interior with Alcantara. I’d love to do this to most of my interior, all trim pieces, shifter, steering wheel, dash, seat inserts, parts of the door panel and so on. My question is did anything other then the head liners come available with the alcantara covering other then the head liner? I don’t want the car to be too modified when it comes time to sell.

Headliners and seat bolsters. The new 2011 GTS 911 has more Alacantra touches. You might want to take your cues from that car.

As long as you stay tasteful with it, I don't think anyone is going to complain about extra alcantera surfaces when you sell.

It seems to me that different types of interior upgrades go in fads. I remember in the early part of this decade how carbon fiber was the way to go if you have enough money. Now it seems a bit outdated. If you are thinking about selling in a few years, I don't think you will even come close to recoup your investment for alcantara and a few potential buyers may not like it, prefering the original interior.
