This morning, I have noticed a loose cable on my Cayenne Turbo.

Located under the panel that covers the Fuse Box in the engine compartment, near the Brake Fluid Can.

It looks like the one in the picture below, the multi pin connector is not connected to anything, just hangs there. I cannot see where the other end goes.

What could it be ?

i just looked into my Turbo and there is nothing like this. does it look OEM or could it be DIY job from previous owner?

It's not a OEM part, find out where it is connected to, perhaps a radar detector wire or something.

I am sure it is OEM, on the connector, there is the Audi & VW emblem, and some part number I guess. As we know, Porsche uses a lot of Audi and VW components... so I am sure it is OEM.

Very very strange.

i have no idea (for a reason) of where porsche tracking system is installed on cayenne but could that be it?

There is a connector that has a similar shape but only five pins I think for the air quality sensor. It's sits near the brake master cylinder.
