You can also donate by credit card - it uses the same PayPal interface but it does not require that you to join PayPal.

If you want to contribute using a credit card just choose "Pay with Credit Card" (or "Don't have a PayPal account?") depending on your browser.

Hi Loren,

I too cannot use paypal, and when i login to the credit card payment page i am not taken to a secure page, my browser gives me a warning that information can be viewed by third party, and the SSL Authentication cert does not show a secure connection.

i'm using my home internet connection and not on a public network...

thanks for the help.

Yes, the third party is PayPal and that should be safe. PayPal handles donation for us whether it is through a PayPal account or by credit card. In the case of credit cards all they do is process the order (your credit card information is not kept by PayPal (and we at RennTech.org never see it either). All we get is a receipt - same as you.

PayPal was a problem, and I had to use a credit card I do not normally use. Not sure what the problem was, but PP thought the credit card I normally use was associated with another account. :cursing:

is it possible to mail a personal check?

You can use a credit card through the PayPal interface - if you are more comfortable with that?

If that does not work please PM me.

I hate and despise PayPal for other off topic issues that are not worth wasting space and/or time. I absolutely refuse to enter into any transaction where they are involved credit card processing or otherwise. I have contributed to other Porsche forums by check or other method. Please advise mailing instructions for a check or MO and I will be more than happy to support your efforts with donation(s).

So I donated and my account was semi locked because emails sent to me were bouncing, old email was still in system?

Now email is corrected.  Still get "fix email" popup window after every thread change, also at login.  Try to correct by filling out popup and get "That email is in use"  Well no S--t Sherlock it's mine.  How to get this straight?

Thank You,

Sorry this should have been a new thread.
