I think I have a loose hose or something.. Can someone tell me what is at the front of the motor at the bottom on the drivers side that could cause a drip? I noticed it while changing my belt.

Thanks!

There's a turbo pressure hose that's known to leak on the drivers side. It runs from the turbo to the intercooler or from the intercooler to the engine. I can't remember which. There's a TSB about it in the TSB section

If that is the source of your leak, it's not a big deal as far as oil leaks go; just an annoyance.

Thank you...

Have you confirmed if it is the hose?

I was on here last night researching oil leaks as I noticed a drip on my floor. Looked under the car and noticed oil on the skid plates/covers towards the drivers side as well. I pulled the cover and was relieved to find a slight leak coming from the drain plug. Tightened and hoping it's good. Just thought I would share. Sometimes we can skip the simple stuff and go straight into worry mode. I know I did!

Best of luck w/yours!

It was my hose. Oil seems to build up in there over time. I just replaced the o-ring, the old one was a bit worn.
