Hi forum readers,

I really need your help. My wife (in a wheelchair) can not open/close the rearhood of her Cayenne (955 type) anymore (so without help she can not drive the car).

So i was wondering if it is possible to install all parts for an automated rear hood (controlled by keys and or button inside the car).

See also attached picture showing the parts of the 957 model which are installed to these models.

Does anyone have experience with this, or knows if this is possible to install an automatic rearhood afterwards?

Your help is very much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Ramon

Thanks for the info.

The thing is; our car does not have a motorized hood. I first need to find out how to install all parts (pump, cylinder, wires etc.) to get it motorized.

The module you found might help to control the trunk. TNX

If anyone has experience fitting the parts to get it motorized, please post.

THANKS
