hello folks! this is my first post, i've been seraching over Internet for over 4 hours but had nothing regarding the following issue i had:

just bought a set of pads for my 2007 GT3(PCCB), on the front pads, it's printed 997.351.943.02 and 977.352.942.01one the rears, but neither of those matches the number on PET,

have i bought the wrong pads? it did say P40-3FF on the pads (OE are P40 material i suppose?), but what does 3 and FF mean? i have looked PCCB Pads number on gt2s and Carrera, the numbers doesnt match to those either...

please... let me know if i really got the wrong pads..

thanks in adance!

Han

:welcome:

Neither of those part numbers come up on my lists - even as "replaced by".

Sometimes Porsche parts have "assembly numbers" that Porsche does not use. You might want to go to a dealer/OPC and compare what you have with the part numbers I have listed below your model year car.

MY07 GT3 with PCCB uses:

front 997.351.948.02

rear 997.352.947.01

Thanks Loren! I took the parts to my dealer yesterday, and they didn't have a clue either. i was told the numbers printed on the pads are always matching whats on the system, at least for what they have handled so far...

Hello tubescreamer. Earlier this year, I bought a set of pads for my '07 GT3 with PCCB. Ordered them from Suncoast in Sarasota, FL. The boxes were marked with the numbers that Loren shows in his post. The pads were marked with the same numbers as on your pads.

Do these numbers represent the same pads? Suncoast is a reputable Porsche dealer and the boxes were sealed. They don't appear to have been tampered with.

Will let you know if I find the answer.
