Yesterday was our annual PCA holiday party and I actually won Armorglove for the headlights, fog lights and full food. How amazing is that since I have a one week old Cayenne.

The only catch is that the gift certificate is for the parts only and does not include installation. I am going to call the place that is honoring this gift certificate but I was wondering what labor on something like this should cost.

At first I won the headlight/fog light protectors and thought “cool, I can do this myself” but then the hood protection came along and I figured it had to be done by them.

Any help or insight to this product and its installation costs would be appreciated.

Thanks

That's it? Seems a bit low for that install. The product is extrememly inexpensive for the distributor (a few bucks for what you won).....the cost is in the install.

I would check out other work they have done and make sure you are happy with it. Also, you want to make sure they are using the newest 3M film that doesn't yellow in time. And most importantly.......warranty.

I would ask ALOT of questions since this work runs in the 400-800 range depending on the job and for a cayenne it should be toward the high end. But, if you are satisfied with work they have done on others and got the TOTAL install price IN WRITING ahead of time (not an estimate) then give it serious consideration.

I just had the Armorglove installed. A fantastic job by AF America in Greenwich CT.

I ended up getting:

Full Wrap Bumper Package

Full Hood Package (Hood, wings, mirror backs)

Light Package (headlights and fog lights)

Option Package (Front and rear doorsteps and gas cap)

Basically its everything they have for the Cayenne. Great people to deal with and quick service, they had three guys working on the car and it was done in just a few hours.
