I have an '08 Boxster RS60 Spyder with the 19" SportDesign wheels. I need to replace all 4, and want to know if anyone has suggestions other than the OEM PS2's. I am most interested in handling, and I live in Arizona, so summer tires all year work great. I got good wear out of the originals, and don't use the tires for autocross, just "spirited" road use.

I'm in the same position, need all 4 tyres replacing on '06 987 S with 19" Carrera S wheels, but live in UK, so wet tyre alternative suggestions would be much appreciated. SS

Michelin Pilot now updated to PS3. Make sure the tyres are N rated for porsche whichever brand you opt for. Yokohama, Pirelli, Continental and Good Year also offer tyres in boxster sizes.

I've heard good things about Hankook EVO 12..... and cost about 1/2 that of PS2's. For everyday street used and sprinted driving, the Hankooks should fit that bill. Here is the comparison by C&D: http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/comparisons/09q2/tire_test_nine_affordable_summer_tires_take_on_the_michelin_ps2-comparison_tests/hankook_ventus_v12_evo_page_10

I'm due for a new set of tires and will likely buy these for weekend sprinted drives and 4 - 5 DE's/yr.
