Hey,

I found this website: http://www.nameyourporsche.com/

Where you can remove the lettering from the back of your car, where it says "Carrera" or "Carrera S" or "Turbo", and put whatever name you prefer.

The charge a ridiculous fee. I was wondering if anyone knew a cheaper place which can provide a similar service. I actually found a sign company that said they can make the lettering as well, so if someone doesn't know a place, but knows the "font" of the porsche lettering, that would be just as good.

Your help is greatly appreciated!!!

You can send a request to the librarian for the font. Some of the letters

that are not in the word porsche are real weird.

The name is just glued on so it is real easy to peal off. They will

break when you peal it off. To install a new one, you just pull off

the backing tab and stick the new one to the car.

The link does not work because you are not a Contributing Member.

This is the Porsche font not the Carrera/Boxster font.

You can likely find these doing a Google search.

Wow, I do not know the Font, and I am quite happy with what I have on the back of my car now, but I agree with you regarding the costs for the service and putting a different name on the back of your car. If you haven't looked at his link, it is kind of interesting, but very cost prohibitive. (At least in my eyes.)

Are those "nameyourporsche.com" guys serious? Those prices are insane. I can see a FEW people shelling out that cash for a little vanity lettering, but enough people to base a company on????? Really??

China has lots of lettering with the correct font. My Cayenne was de-badged but I decided to put turboS on it, cost me about $25, I could have even put my name there but it was enough.

Very good quality.
