Hi guys,

What are those two "blocks" on the left and the right side of the license plate called? Somehow there is an indentation on one of them and it's annoying. Are these two blocks part of the bumper itself or are they separate pieces? Does anyone know how hard it would be to replace them? I have a 2008 Boxster base model in black.

If they are the same as those on a 986 (and I no longer think they are wink.gif), removal and replacement is as easy as unbolting one allen bolt from underneath the bumperette and pivoting the bumperette up from the bottom to unhook it from its supporting bracket.

Here is a photo of what they look like from the underside:

You can see the little cut-out on each one at the bottom where you can access the allen bolt from underneath, and the bracket at the top on which each one hangs on the other bracket on the body.

Regards, Maurice.
