Is anyone having probelms with AOS failures? The AOS's are genuine Porsche parts. After I get my car out of the shop the AOS fails after a few trips. It's now in the shop for the 3rd time.

Are they replacing the tubes also or just the AOS itself? And what is the way you are diagnosing the replaced AOSs as failed? Clean the throttle body?

Did anyone check the bellows?

I am on my third AOS tried going to a catch can but was not the ideal way of handling system. I track my car which I am sure leads to the problem.

Is there any way to simply bypass/disable the AOS? I can't help but think one could simply disconnect & plug the intake manifold hose from the AOS, and leave the AOS output open to vent crankcase gasses... and it would be fine.

"If the car is running rough, then removing this tube and blocking off both ends should disable the system and restore previous performance. This is not a long-term fix, but instead a short-term diagnosis step to use before you replace the air-oil separator."
