When I use my turning signal switch, left turn is ok. But during right turn, it won't reset itself and the right turn has to be held to use the signal.

I have a 2002 996 C2. Any idea how to solve the problem?

Is this something I can do it my self? or do I need a mechanic?

Is there any part that I need to buy other than the assembly?

Thanks

I had the exact problem...it is an easy DIY fix.

The replacement indicator columb switch is available from Design911UK.com

The part number 99661321910E ( this one has the cruise control included ) £ 141.25 plus VAT. Others are available.

Instructions for the work is on youtube.com.....search for 'Porsche 986/996 Indicator Stalk Replacement '

The instructions are a video and easy to follow and the 996 is the same as the boxter.

Good luck.

Hi - new questions for an old thread: is pn 996.613.217.10 EWC correct for a 99 ( ie. without OBC)? If you use the 996.613.219.10.EWC can the unused stalk be removed?
