Thanks for the reply, but my car has probably had a new bonnet in its life because there is no identification under the bonnet and the ident in the luggage compartment under the carpeting is unreadable?

Well, if you can't read the one under the carpet then you will likely have to try and get your OPC to look it up using your VIN.
