While I was driving back to work suddenly the A / C stopped cooling in my '06 manual Cayman S. The fan was running but the air wasn't cool. Upon sending the car to the dealer the computer was saying the outside temperature is -30 Celsius while it was above +45 Celsius. They tried to find the sensors nearby the glove compartment side as per the GCC specs but it wasn't there as my Porsche was imported from the US.

So far they removed the whole dashboard and couldn't find it.... can somebody help me pointing where are the two sensors for outside temperature located in the American 2006 Cayman S (manual transmission)?

Thank you in advance.

On the 986 it is located in the front air dam grille.

One sensor was found behind the steering wheel... the 2nd is still not located. Is there a manual for spare parts or so? What is it called?
