Hi All,

I'm in the process of configuring my 2011 TT - going with PDK (w/ paddles) and Sports Chrono. What are the thoughts/opinions on PTV?

Posted (edited)

I bought my turbo a couple of months ago and at the time I was told by several dealers that the '11 model would only be available as a Turbo S. According to the Porsche website the S standard equipment includes sport chrono and PTV?

Anyway, the car is amazing and is completly flat in the corners and always holds the line. Even in the rain or poor road conditions, it never gets undone. Franly, I can't tell what the PVT is doing since all the other sytems and the dynamic engine mounts are all contributuing to the total effect.

My wife has a '10 C4S and that does not have the PTV or dynamic engine mounts. When it is in sport mode the courning is also excellent. The point at which it might make a differnce is so far beyond my experience that it really doesn't matter.

I think your dealer is mistaken. The Turbo S is another model in addition to the Turbo. You are correct about what is standard on the S though - including an S sized price increase.
