I know this is my first post, but have been lurking for a while. My car is a 2007 997 TT, BOSE, NAV and PCM = MOST ring

Decided to update my BOSE and PCM2 Nav system - As you know its pretty outdated.

I went with a Pioneer AVIC Z120-BT and Alpine PDX5 - I have removed the PCM, DVD Nav, and BOSE amp and bypassed the MOST ring -

I have everything set up correctly as far as my ear can tell - I definately am not new to Car Audio and even though I am using the Bose speakers (will be updated later) still they are powered with the PDX5 amp and do sound alot cleaner.

TWO LAST QUESTIONS I have for all you brains out there.

1. Because of the CAN bus fed the old PCM, I don't seem to find an easy location to pull the VSS (Speed Signal) for the head unit. Anybody know the closest tap for the VSS on my car..?? Just a general location and wire color would suffice... :)

2. Same with Illumination - this seems to be easier to find - probably the cigarette lighter etc??? maybe the AC controls also??

I will be posting a complete HOW to soon as I get all the last details nutted out.. Attached a couple of scary pics for you hacks out there... :)
