Hi, I just got a 2006 Cayenne Turbo that came with the factor hitch, but when I was looking for the wiring for the trailer lights, all I could find was a plate with 4 screws.

  1. Does the wiring come with the hitch receiver as a standard option or is it an add-on I need to get? If it's the latter, is it a porsche-OEM product?
  2. What is the optimal towing setting on the suspension controls?

Thanks!

You need an adapter plug P/n PNA 955 118 93--this replaces the plate held on by 4 screws--the wiring harness plug should be already behind this plate--just attach to the back of the new adapter plug and you're in business. This adapter plug gives you a standard 7pin rv type receptacle. For a 7way to 4 flat--like most small trailers without brakes you need adapter plug PNA 955 127 08 to convert the unit to a 4pin flat. If your trailer has led lights Uhaul has a "led light trailer module" P/N uhaul39008 to use instead of the Porsche PNA955 127 08.

Can't answer your second ? my Cayenne is an 06S --no air suspension.
