strange idle

My car a 99 Boxster has a strange idle when coming off the gas. it dips down to 300-400rpm and then comes up to normal idle. It does not do this all the time but it seems to do it more than it should does anyone else have this same kind of issue? Is this a normal Boxster thing? Thanks

Had a similar problem with the idle surge and solved it. The throttle body was gunked up, take it off and clean it. It also restores power.
