Just a couple days ago i got an error message saying "failure spoiler control." when i got out i noticed half my spoiler was still up. I can manually lower the whole spoiler, but i can only raise the left side. The right side refuses to move it seems. I checked fuse D7 and it's good. I've pulled the fuse at this point becuase it's embarrassing going down the highway in my beautiful car with half a spoiler lol. But now of course the rear trunk wont open without that fuse.

Any ideas as to what's causing this and if it's fixable? I'm bummed :( I'm on the highway every day going over 75..

Many thanks for any help

I'm having the same issue. Mine is also going up and down as normal, but makes a loud noise as if it's jammed while it is at the lowest point. I was considering removing the fuse as well, but won't be too pleased if the rear trunk isn't functional.

I have had this spoiler part replaced at the dealer about 2 years ago and now the problem is back.

Usually due to a slight mis-alignment.

Can U tell any gaps between the spoiler and lid (on each side)when its down? or one side slightly higher than the other,,,

Often times need to re-seat,,,
