Looking to buy one of these either from Carnewal or ebay. Any thoughts on the part number to confirm I am getting a UK appropriate one? THere are two alarm frequencies apparently.

315 mhz and 433 mhz are listed. In the US we use 315 so I assume in the UK you use 433. My US Boxster remote key has TXF315P on it. See if you have 433 on yours.

433 is part number 980 643 244 00

Thanks. My part number is listed as 980 637 244 01

There is no code on keyfob itself unless it opens up somehow.

Your part number is for 315 mhz and I am pretty sure this is not used in the UK as I saw a 996 key remote head on UK ebay and the part number traced back to 433 mhz. If your option sticker has 534 then it is 433 mhz. In the US we have 535 on the sticker which is 315 mhz.
