Need to remove the hub on the rear axle so I can change the backplate behind the rotor. I'm doing a big brake conversion "Turbo" and the rotors are bigger then the standard "S".

Front was easy but the back looks like more trouble.

What size is that nut? Once removed can I slide the axle out of the bearing or should I also take the CV axle out?

Should I buy a new nut and what is the torque setting?

Any advice would be great, thanks!

I don't think you need to remove the hub (that is a big job).

Just remove the rotor and you should have access to the back plate.

Remove brake disc after unscrewing the fastening screw. If necessary, remove the brake disc by hitting it gently with a rubber hammer.

Everything is already off, the caliper, the rotor, the parking brake assembly. The back plate slides around the housing, the only way to put it on there is to remove the hub. The back plate has a hole in the center not like the front one where it has a U-shape.
