My radio control knobs are sticky from the outer coating wearing off and was wondering if you could just replace the knobs or if anyone has tried to put a new coating on them with success?

I have tried to contact a becker distributor but cannot get a response hoping for suggestions, Thanx

I recently replaced these knobs on my CDR-220. Contact Stefan @ www.swstereo.com. They can sell you the parts you need. (Although the website appears to be down at the moment.)

The little radio knobs on the stock radios are pretty terrible, and often deteriorate with age. You can purchase new ones from Porsche (PN: 996-645-901-00), or check Pedro's site for a tip about how to refurbish your old ones.

Who's Pedro? Where's his site?

Never mind just found it thanks for the help!

You can go direct to http://www.beckerautosound.com ... they still support our radios and offer many ipod upgrades to bring your old unit up to speed....
