Hi All,

Just curious to find out if anyone of the forum has done this? I recently damaged the front end bumper cover on my 997 but instead of buying a replacement cover I decided to purchase a used front end from an 08 Turbo. I'm 99% certain the bumper cover itself will fit with no problems, however, what I'm less sure about is what it's going to take to get the Turbo LED turn signals to operate correctly. Does anyone have any thoughts on what it might take to get this working? I am assuming I could just add either a resistor or LED flasher unit to each of the existing front turn signal setup? Thanks in advance for any help here!

Just to note, what made me go the Turbo route was a couple of things; I like the separate driving lights on the Turbo front end more than the integrated light set up on our standard 997. It also has the LED blinkers. And this front end was already fitted with a couple of extras; Techart DRLs and SpeedArt front lip. Any thoughts or help on this would be really help[ful. Thanks all.

Please do a search here the LED lights have been covered here before and will require using the newer control boxes.

As far the bumper goes - it might be made to work but you are trying to put a wide body car bumper on a narrow body car. So, some work and retrofit will likely be needed.

The front of the 997 TT is the same as the 997 narrowbody, so it should fit easily, with very minor modification. The width difference between a narrow and a wide body takes place right behind the doors.

The air ducts behind the bumper that route air to the radiators are different and the fender liners might be different as well. As long as you get all the necessary pieces of plastic it should bolt up.
