My car has never quite run right, and perhaps its because of a dirty/faulty/POS IACV...I've replaced the MAF sensor, had the O2 pumps checked, had vacuum seals checked/fixed....and the engine still sounds like it wants to die when I apply gas at low RPMS, especially when the engine is cold. Once it warms up, the engine runs fine, but until then, it shakes and shudders and lacks all power until about 2000 RPM.

So Scott suggested it might be the IACV...and just in case it is, I would like to be able to change the part myself. Is it possible? Where is it? What tools would I need? Due to flying all the time, I don't have much time to do other research on the topic.

Any help at all is appreciated...I would LOVE for this car to actually run right for the first time in months!

It is a part of the throttle body, I thought that was my problem too. I had a surge in the idle and a minor loss of power at low rpm... turns out the throttle body needed to be cleaned out the passage was obstructed so it was not getting enough air at idle.
