hi guys

i was a 986 boxser owner and now i bought a 996 carrera.

i sent my car today topolish and clean the interior and when i went to take it back the driver seat was stuck and not moving

i checked the fuse and it is ok, the funny thing is that the position of the seat now prevent me from driving it.

any suggestions?

nothing is there to jam the seat

i am worried if the cleaners touch something under the seat, an electrical cable or a plug !??

You will likely have to remove the seat to check that.

If you do be sure to remove the key from the ignition while the seat is out - or you will get an airbag light.

hi

it has a carrera sign and my 996 is 2000 model

Thant would make it a Carrera (2 wheel drive).

3.4 liter engine - about 300 HP.

hairdryer, on low setting, sometimes is handy to remove moisture from electical connections. your problem could have been a moisture issue if carpets were cleaned inside the car. glad for the fast recovery...
