Factory Lsd Of Aftermarket

I'm looking at possibly moving into a 987CS2 and was curious about the LSD option. Being as it's almost impossible to find one on the lot with the factory LSD, I was curious for opinions as to whether it's worth it to hunt down a 987CS2 with the factory option or is it better to go with aftermarket (quaife, etc)?

Guard Transmission is making two types of LSD for the Gen 2 CS. A clutch pack and a TBD similar to the Quaife. In my opinion either one would be better than the factory LSD. I believe it is an allowed modification for the Interseries Caymans. The factory diffs did not hold up well.

While you're looking around at aftermarket LSDs, check out WaveTrac. It's similar to the Quaife, but without the drawbacks...
