Front End Suspension Noise

Mostly at low speeds like going in or out of my driveway, the front end sounds like the bushings are dry and squeaking. Is there some lubrication I should do to my front end? Thanks.

I just went through something like this for the past several months ('01 Boxster, 53K miles). It turned out my front hood latch was worn and needed adjusting, and saved me tons of money on unneeded suspension part replacements. I circled the area that wears in the picture. Pop your hood and take a look at the latch, and if you can see or feel any wear. I would start with that, which would only involve a minor latch adjustment. Do a search as this topic has been covered before. Most likely injecting some gear lube into the lower control arm ball joint rubber boot with a syringe will fix the problem.

Hi, yes plenty of posts on here about this, depends on the type of noise, if it resembles the squeek made by rubber bushings you can lub them but it will come back, if its more of a creek then you will need to replace the track control arm. I have injected the ball joints but again it's only a temporary fix. Replacing the arms will most likely sort out all your noises. It's not a difficult job,say about 1-1/2 hours each side.
